Portuguese Class

Class Description

Our professional instructors offer classes for every level, from beginner to advanced, and the curriculum is designed to progress students through sequential blocks of classes. We also offer a separate Portuguese class for Spanish speakers. Students with prior language experience can take a placement test on the first day of classes in order to determine the appropriate level placement.

Class Schedule

Mondays
Intermediate II - 6:30 - 7:45 pm
Advanced - 7:45 - 9:00 pm

Tuesdays
Intermediate IV - 6:30 - 7:45 pm
Beginner II - 7:45 - 9:00 pm

Thursdays
Beginner V - 6:30 - 7:45 pm
Beginner IA -7:45 - 9:00 pm

Saturdays
Beginner IIA - 8:30 - 9:45 am

Beginner I - 9:45 - 11:00 am
(non Spanish speaker class)

Beginner III - 12:15 - 1:30 pm

Beginner I - 1:30 - 2:45 pm
(Spanish speaker class)

Payment

Next block of 8 weeks starting March 5th, 6th, 8th, 10th (depending on your level)

All NEW students with previous Portuguese language experience should come to take a placement test on March 3rd. You can take the test anytime from 9:00am - 11:00am.

REGISTER Register on or before March 3rd and pay a discounted fee of$130.00. Starting March 4th, the fee will be $145.00

THERE IS NO REFUND FOR TUITION FEES. UNDER SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES, CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE NEXT BLOCK OF CLASSES.

   The Portuguese language classes taught at the Brazilian Arts Foundation are such a great resource! Since the entire class is in Portuguese from day one, you'll be speaking the language starting with your first class. The classes are very fun and focus heavily on conversation in order to maximize retention. Working in the oil & gas industry I meet many people from different countries like Brazil and Angola.
